Description:
Part of the last-line defenses of major Arizonan worlds, the Near (x) Orbit MAC Platforms are a formidable bastion of the "hub" worlds. While weak defensively, the huge cannons have a long range and can do tremendous damage to unlucky capital ships. The platforms also contain batteries of Gattling Turbolasers as well to fend off fighter attacks, though any other forms of support have to come from the fleet.
