Description:
The Jormungand's Spit fighter is the drone produced by the Jormungand carrier factory. Using their swarm tactics, maneuverability, weapons mounts, and guided by the Jormungand carriers, these ships are designed to provide a fatal distraction to enemy ships - a distraction that they can't very well ignore. Their secondary function is as a missile - once crippled or out of armaments, the drones will smash themselves into the enemy ship, detonating their highly unstable and very explosive Gilium crystal reactor on contact. As long as the battle persists, as long as the Jormungand carriers exist, a constant tide of these Spit fighters comes. If there are surviving fighters, and the carriers are destroyed, the Spit fighters activate an internal guidance system, though it is much less efficient and accurate than the network provided by the carriers.
