Description:
The need for a light, fast scout ship for the Empire was evident with the advent of the Hughie Mark II: while a fast ship, the Hughie was specialized for combat, not exploration or frontier scouting. Many frontier outposts had also found the Hughie too expensive and maintenance-intensive for their needs. Thus, Imperial Docks almost literally slapped together a scout ship: lightly armored, simple to fly and maintain, and inexpensive. Should a Renegade get into a combat situation, its safety is far from assured. Its best assets are the incredible speed one can get out of it without FTL, and its overpowered FTL drive. It is also outfitted with a number of extraordinarily powerful sensor systems where applicable.
